Mineral Exploration Properties
EagleRidge Minerals Ltd (ERM) exploration properties are targeted at the discovery of precious metals and base metal mineralization. The company has a large portfolio of over 50,000 hectares of minerals claims in the provinces of Manitoba and Newfoundland.In Manitoba, the company is primarily focused on gold exploration in the Rice Lake greenstone belt, an active gold mining region in which additional new high grade gold discoveries have been recently found. The present focus of exploration for ERM is on the Hannes Gold Project located on the western side of the greenstone belt. Mapping by ERM personal in 2009 examined three gold-bearing occurrences, two not previously known. Currently the company is drill testing one of the gold occurrences. Planned exploration will include more mapping and geochemistry. A second drill program is planned for the winter of 2010 to further test gold-bearing occurrences on the Hannes Gold Project. The company has optioned a lithium/REE-bearing pegmatite field from Mustang Minerals. This area is located in southeast Manitoba and will be actively explored during 2010.
ERM main properties in Newfoundland are the Baie Verte, Little Bay and St. Juliens Projects, where the focus is gold and copper. The St. Juliens copper project has received the most exploration attention from company. To date several zones of high grade copper mineralization have been found. The plan is to drill test the area in the winter of 2010
